The B. C. Roy Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, is pleased to announce the Second Edition of its Five-Day National Workshop on Data Carpentry and AI/ML Tools for Libraries.
This carefully designed, hands-on programme aims to support library and information professionals in developing practical skills relevant to the evolving digital library environment. The workshop will cover key areas such as data cleaning and management, bibliometric and informetric analysis, applications of AI and machine learning, and advanced library analytics.
With an emphasis on the thoughtful use of open-source tools and automated methods, the programme seeks to enhance participants’ understanding of data-driven approaches for strengthening library services, improving research support, and facilitating informed decision-making. The workshop also offers insights into emerging trends and best practices that are contributing to the development of modern, technology-enabled libraries.
