The Five-Day National Workshop on Data Carpentry and AI/ML Tools for Libraries was formally inaugurated by Prof. Peeyush Mehta, IIM Calcutta, marking a meaningful beginning to an enriching learning journey.

Roy Memorial Library, IIM Calcutta, and Prof. Parthasarathi Mukhopadhyay, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kalyani. The ceremony featured the traditional lighting of the lamp, a warm welcome address, and thoughtful remarks highlighting the growing importance of data skills, AI, and emerging technologies in modern libraries.
