The B. C. Roy Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, has respectfully paid heartfelt tribute on the birth anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the visionary physician, freedom fighter, and architect of modern West Bengal. He has also been fondly remembered as the first Chairman of the B. C. Roy Memorial Library at IIM Calcutta.
The programme has been graciously attended by Prof. Ravindran Rajesh Babu, Dean (Executive Education), IIM Calcutta; Prof. Peeyush Mehta, IIM Calcutta; Dr. Narayan Chandra Ghosh, Librarian, B. C. Roy Memorial Library, IIM Calcutta; and Prof. Parthasarathi Mukhopadhyay, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kalyani, along with other officers and staff members of the Institute.
Together, they have honoured Dr. Roy’s enduring legacy of service, compassion, and visionary nation-building and an inspiring legacy that has continued to guide generations and illuminate the path of knowledge, healthcare, and public service.
