IIM Calcutta proudly welcomed back the PGP Class of 1976 on 9 January for their data-end="380">Golden Jubilee Reunion, commemorating fifty years of enduring friendships, shared memories, and a remarkable collective legacy. The occasion was graced by Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Director, IIM Calcutta, and Prof. Sumanta Basu, Dean (Development & External Relations). Professor Seth has most recently held the position of Pamplin Professor of Management at Virginia Tech, USA. Prior to joining Virginia Tech, she was Professor of Business Administration at University of Illinois.

She completed her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and has an academic career spanning over twenty five years.

She has received numerous awards for her teaching and research and is on the editorial board of many scholarly journals.
