UTI chair professor in Capital Markets and professor, finance and control, IIM Bangalore, Fellow in management at IIM Calcutta from 1973 - 1977. He was also a graduate of the Loyola College, Madras and a Masters from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta.
