As part of ACE 2025, IIM Calcutta hosted an insightful panel discussion on “Navigating a Fractured World”, featuring distinguished alumni and industry leaders discussing leadership in an increasingly complex and unpredictable global environment. The session was chaired by Prof. Rajesh Bhattacharya (Public Policy & Management Group) and Prof. Somdeep Chatterjee (Economics Group). The panel featured Mohit Pandey (Director & Regional Sales Head, Standard Chartered Bank | SMP ’20), Anushree Lakshminarayanan (Director – External Affairs, MSD Pharma | EPPPM ’01), Pranav Bairagi (Head – Enterprise Service Management (India), Vivicta | SMP ’09), and Robin Arya (Founder & MD, GoalZen Capital Services Pvt. Ltd. | APFFB ’07). The discussion explored geopolitical, technological, and institutional fractures, highlighting cyber risks, data privacy, financial system vulnerabilities, and the need for strong regulation, trust-building, and a 360-degree intelligence approach—emphasising that anticipation is more effective than reaction.
