Dr. Sandeep Pandey (born 22 July 1965) is an Indian social activist and the current General Secretary of the Socialist Party (India). He co-founded Asha for Education along with Dr. Deepak Gupta (currently a Professor at IIT Kanpur) and V.J.P. Srivastava while pursuing his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Pandey has served as a visiting professor at several prestigious institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, NALSAR University of Law, and Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.
