The workshop aimed to equip Library and Information Science professionals with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in modern data management techniques.

The programme focused on enhancing participants’ skills in data wrangling, data cleaning, data reconciliation, and named-entity recognition using open-source tools. Through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and practical case studies, participants were introduced to emerging data science practices that are increasingly relevant in library and research environments.
