Ms. Ingrid Srinath ( 21st Batch )

Ms. Ingrid Srinath is a distinguished advocate for human rights, social justice, and civil society, with over two decades of leadership experience. She is the Founder Director of the Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy at Ashoka University, South Asia’s first academic centre dedicated to these themes. After completing her PGDM in 1986, she began her career in the corporate sector, contributing to the growth of leading Indian brands at Lintas and Grey Worldwide.
In 1998, Ms. Srinath transitioned to the nonprofit sector with Child Rights and You (CRY), where she later served as CEO (2004–2008). During her tenure, she strengthened resource mobilisation efforts and played a pivotal role in CRY’s leadership of the national movement to amend the Constitution, making education a fundamental right. She has since held senior leadership positions as Secretary General of CIVICUS, Executive Director of CHILDLINE India, and CEO of HIVOS India.
Ms. Srinath currently serves on several prestigious national and international bodies, including the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Systemic Inequalities and Social Cohesion, NITI Aayog’s Civil Society Organisations Standing Committee, and SEBI’s Technical Committee on the Social Stock Exchange. She has also contributed extensively through advisory and board roles with leading global institutions and organisations.
