Shri Sanjoy Mukherjee, IPS (1989 Batch, All India Rank 5), has served in several top leadership roles, including DG & IG of Police, West Bengal, Chief of CID, and DG, Fire & Emergency Services. He is known for major anti-crime operations, administrative reforms, and modernising forensic and fire services. He has been honoured with the President’s Police Medals and the Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service.
