Prof. Saugata Ray, Former Faculty

Work Experience: Prof. Saugata Ray is a distinguished academic who has been a Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta since 2006, following earlier faculty roles at IIM Calcutta and IIM Indore, as well as initial industry experience at the Steel Authority of India Limited. Over the years, he has held visiting faculty and research positions at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Kentucky, Helsinki University of Technology, Bordeaux School of Management, the Indian School of Business, and multiple Indian Institutes of Management. He has delivered invited lectures and research seminars at globally renowned universities, including Seoul National University, Florida International University, and Copenhagen Business School, as well as key Indian academic and industry forums. Prof. Ray also delivered the keynote address at SOFTEXPO 2005, the annual event of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services.
