Work Experience: Prof. Bodhibrata Nag served in the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (now redesignated as the Indian Railway Management Service) from 1989 to 2006, contributing significantly to the development and management of railway electrical systems.

Prof. Bodhibrata Nag joined the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta on 1 March 2006 as an Associate Professor in the Operations Management (OM) Group. He was confirmed in this position with effect from 1 March 2007 and continued to serve in this capacity with dedication and academic excellence until 31 March, 2015.

In recognition of his contributions to teaching, research, and institutional development, he was promoted to the position of Professor with effect from 1 April 2015. Prof. Bodhibrata Nag continued to serve the Institute with distinction in this role until his retirement on 31 March 2026.
