Topic: Absence of Prof. Binod Kumar During Invigilation and Examination Issues
Description: The memo informs the Director that Prof. Binod Kumar could not attend his invigilation duties due to traveling out of town, without deputing a substitute from the Finance Group. This led to confusion in the exam hall, especially as errors were found in both the printed and handwritten question papers. Students were instructed to make reasonable assumptions and state them explicitly. Additionally, a student, Venkatnarayan (11/15), left the hall for 15 minutes, claiming he went to a tea shop. Although no clear evidence of misconduct was found, the incident was reported for the instructor’s consideration during script evaluation.
